ACID ATHLETICS 2026 PRIZE WINNERS!
Congratulations to our Acid Athletics 2026 winners!
A huge well done to Guy and Kat, who took top spot in this year's challenge, and to Amanda, who won our Memorable Effort award. All three have now collected their prizes.
A big thank you to the team at RAD Global for putting together such a fantastic in-house competition idea. It was great to see so many members getting involved, pushing themselves, and creating some brilliant moments along the way.
We're already looking forward to seeing what Acid Athletics brings next year.

A client of ours came in for a nutrition review in her early forties.
She was training consistently, eating well most of the week, and had one pattern she couldn't shift.
Around bread and pasta, she either had none or ate far too much and felt terrible afterwards. There was no in-between.
When we talked through it, the picture became clear quickly. Her mother had been on diets throughout her childhood and had described starchy foods in the same terms for years.
Dangerous. Something to be careful around. Worth avoiding if you were being serious about your health.
She had carried those labels for three decades without realising they were still running.
We didn't change her training. We didn't write her a new meal plan. We worked on the language around food and what it meant to eat something without it being a statement about her character.
It took time. It got better.
The origin of the pattern was a dinner table, thirty years ago, and words that were never meant to cause any harm at all.
A lot of our members have kids, and it’s a time where we can help direct them with their decisions around food, nutrition and set a positive framework from which they can grow and develop a beneficial relationship with it.
Swipe through for what this looks like in practice, and the one change worth making this week.
Ultimately we as parents and role models will help develop a health centric positive relationship with what goes in our bodies, if we set the example, they tend to follow our actions and language!

🔥 Committed Club Streak Update 🔥
Consistency compounds. BUILD THE CHAIN!
These members haven't just made the Committed Club once, they've done it month after month, building an incredible streak of commitment.
A huge shoutout to everyone currently on our leaderboard. Whether you're on a 6, 7 or 9-month streak, you've shown what happens when you keep turning up, even when life gets busy.
The goal isn't perfection. The goal is to keep the streak alive, one session at a time.
Can you make the leaderboard by the end of the year?
Congratulations to everyone featured, you've earned it.

There's a thought that turns up for a lot of people somewhere in their late thirties or forties, usually after a session that took longer to recover from than it used to.
Am I past it now.
It never gets said out loud. It just sits there, quietly, every time an old injury complains a bit louder than it should.
That thought is wrong, and believing it is costing people more than almost any other belief in fitness.
The decade most people quietly write off as decline, the mid-forties to mid-fifties, is actually the decade where training pays back the most. The hormones that used to protect your muscle and bone start doing less of that work for you, which means the training you do now is doing work your body used to do for free.
New post this week on why the decade you've written off matters more than any other, and what to actually do about it.

🔥 June Committed Club 🔥
Another month, another group of members proving that results come from showing up consistently.
The Committed Club isn't about being the fittest or the strongest. It's about making your health a priority, turning up when you said you would, and building habits that last.
To everyone who hit the target this month, congratulations! 👏
And if you just missed out, keep going we had over 10 people missing out by 1 session!
One more session next month could be all it takes.
Who's joining the Committed Club in July alongside our 66 workout challenge!

Fast Tack Success!!! Here’s Nicki!
Nicki wasn't new to the gym. She was just STUCK.
Like so many people, she was training in a big commercial gym where it was easy to blend into the background.
No real coaching, no community, no accountability, just the same routine week after week. BORING!!!!
She wanted a change.
It all started with a click on our website and I gave her a call!
Her goals were to build strength, improve her fitness, and finally have a training routine she looked forward to. The challenge was knowing where to start, especially while managing a knee injury.
That's why she chose our Fast Track 1:1 onboarding system.
Over two one to one sessions, we built a plan around her. We adapted exercises to work with her knee, refined movements she already knew, introduced new ones she'd never tried, and showed her how our check-in process keeps you accountable and progressing.
She didn't just leave with a programme.
She left with a plan and a week worth of sessions booked in!
She left with confidence.
She left with a clear direction.
Most importantly, she walked out smiling, booked into her first week of sessions, excited to train again, and already feeling part of something bigger than just another gym membership.
That's exactly what Fast Track is designed to do, remove the guesswork, build confidence, and give you a plan you can trust from day one.
Welcome to the Tribe, Nicki. We can't wait to see what comes next, we’ll update you in a month when we sit down for her accountability goal review!

One of our members runs her own business.
Diary booked solid most days, back to back from eight until gone six.
She trained with us 2-3 times a week, never missed a session, and could not work out why her body composition would not seem to shift.
When we looked at her actual weekdays rather than her training log, the pattern was obvious. Black coffee until two. Whatever was in the office kitchen after that. A large meal around half eight because it was the first proper food of the day.
The training was excellent. Six hours of nothing every weekday was undoing it.
We did not change her program.
We changed two things, two zero-prep proteins kept in her bag, and one fixed five minute appointment in her diary between two of her worst meetings.
Once that was in place, her results started catching up with the work she was already putting in at the gym.
Swipe through for the system behind it, and the same two changes for your own week perhaps if you are that busy person that can't seem to get away from their desk!

Most fitness content shows people who are already in shape. It shows the transformation, the result, the after. What it almost never shows is the moment before the before. The person who spent weeks convinced they were not ready. Who nearly did not come at all.
This episode is for that person.
We go into why the "I'll start when I'm fitter" thought feels like logic but functions like fear, what people actually walk into when they come through the door for the first time, and why starting from exactly where you are, with no preparation and no experience, is not a compromise. It is the point.
