☀️Some of the team will be down at the Bike Park on Friday the 18th from 4:30-6. We’ll be having a spring clean!
Tidying the jumps and the edges of the trails.

We will be doing an Easter Trail too. 🐣Find the clues and answer the questions to get CHOCOLATE Easter Eggs! 🥚🐇

It is with great excitement that we can now re OPEN Aboyne Bike Park following an extended period of closure.

This also means we can move forwards with our plans to improve our Bike Park 💪

This weekend Anna attended DIRTT Leader training in Banchory.

Anna and a team from Tarland Trails and Moray MTB Club got stuck in with learning, leading and digging at Corona Time in Scolty. 🍻

Sight lines, debris, death spikes, berms, benching and drainage have been tackled and a whole lotta cake was consumed 😆

Sound on!🔉 It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and this year the theme is movement. We are particularly lucky to live in a very beautiful part of the world. Our little bike park is in the Bellwood in Aboyne, a community woodland used by many, not just cyclists! Whether you’re a hiker, dog walker, cyclist or enjoy orienteering, or maybe you just love the sights and sounds of the woods, there is something for everyone. Exercise, even a gentle stroll, is good for you physically and mentally. It releases endorphins and makes us feel good! 😊 Next time you’re in the wood walking or on the way to the bike park, take a minute to watch the trees moving in the breeze, the insects dancing or busying themselves pollinating. Look at how lush the woodland is just now, how the seasons change the forest 🌳 see the beauty and appreciate the journey. If you’re very lucky, you might even catch a sight of the very rare lesser-spotted Litten, who can sometimes be seen diving into it’s burrow 👀
