Amey Consulting Ltd will be carrying out a detailed two-day inspection of Dinnet Bridge on Wednesday and Thursday next week (Oct 22-23).

Due to the narrow width of the bridge it will have to close between 9am and 5pm on both days.

Owing to the requirement that a diversion must divert to roads that are the same class, the recommended detour is via Ballater.

We appreciate that working on Dinnet while Aboyne Bridge remains closed to motorised vehicles will cause some inconvenience to road users, but we would ask that you bear with us as this work is critical for managing the bridge and planning for its future.

I think Lona and Katie are glad to be back to regular lessons!

NC course being run locally, the course is free and open to anyone over 12 years.

We are on the look out for a new colleague at Glen Tanar Equestrian Centre. The right applicant will be around 15hh, enjoy their work and have a calm temperament. Looking for something chunky rather than something fine.

Our horses all have a home for life here and get a variety of work doing flat and jump lessons as well as plenty of off road hacking. They are all loved like they are our own!
