Springer in the sunshine!! Paul Adderton, Chairman of Aberdeen Angling Association landing this beautiful fish from Little Quithel on a size 14 stoats tail.
Sometimes these clean fish don’t read the books.
A nice result after close range conservation releases on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The age old argument in Scotland about not fishing for salmon on a Sunday, I can see both side of the discussion but it certainly makes Mondays a great day to be on the river. What do you think?

Four of the other fish from this week, including a treble for Stuart Horne on Monday and one for Paul Goodwin on Tuesday.
Plenty of space over the next few weeks, with it being our best April for many years it’s a great time for a day at Dess.
