Another tough game for our U15s today, but we arrived with 2 subs, which was a huge positive and really helped with tiredness throughout the game. 💪⚽️
The resilience these players show week in, week out, despite the results, is outstanding. They turn up every week regardless of previous scorelines, give it their all and come back ready to try again. That attitude makes us incredibly proud. 💚
We have players in the team who had never played football before joining us at U15s, but the way our more experienced players help, encourage and support them throughout training and matches is fantastic to see. It's a real credit to the team and a pleasure to watch. 👏
⭐ Player of the Match – Leo ⭐
Leo was absolutely outstanding in goal today. He may be one of the smallest players in the team and is playing up a year, but he gave it everything. He pulled off save after save.
The whole team agreed that Leo deserved Player of the Match today, which makes it even more special. 🧤👏
⚽ Big shoutout to Jacob for scoring his second goal of the season! 💪⚽️ Jacob is a solid, experienced player who we can rely on, and he continues to be a real asset to the team.
💚 Special mention to Lucas, who has been unable to play recently due to his martial arts commitments. It was great to have him back today, and he absolutely smashed it in defence.
💚 Get well soon, Finley! You were definitely missed in defence today, especially helping to keep that back line organised. We hope you're feeling better soon!
