Green Haworth golf club is saddened to share the news that one of our past Lady Captains passed away this week.

Sandra McGrath was Lady Captain in 1998 and will be remembered by many of our current and past members.

Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

Perfect weather made this trip one to remember.

A major project is underway at Green Haworth Golf Club.
The installation of an irrigation system has begun.
This is probably the biggest project undertaken by the club for many years and will ensure the course and in particular the greens can be watered regularly in the dryer months .

The water tank is in place, the pipelines are being laid and we are aiming to have the system tested and operational before summer.

There will be no disruption to play during the installation ⛳️⛳️

Open to offers for this EZGO petrol Golf buggy
Owner no longer plays golf , this buggy has been standing unused in our shed for over 12 months and does not currently run - at the very least will need a new battery.

We are saddened to announce the passing of Raymond Crossley, our former Captain and current President of Green Haworth Golf Club.

Ray was a true gentleman, a long standing and highly respected stalwart member of our club.

As well as being the club captain in 2018 and club president since January 2024 he was an excellent golfer and won numerous trophies over the years including the Cocker Cup in 2009 and the coveted Captains prize in 2019.

💚⛳️He will be very sadly missed ⛳️💚
