Completing a GCSE is never easy, but these girls have achieved something truly special. They have either taken on an additional GCSE alongside all of their other examinations or chosen to complete their Dance GCSE before reaching Year 11. Whichever path they took, every single one of them has worked incredibly hard and deserves to be immensely proud of what they have achieved.

Their practical performances were outstanding, and they have dedicated countless hours to preparing for the theory examination. The hard work is now done, and whatever the outcome, we want each of you to know just how proud we are of your commitment, determination, and resilience throughout this journey. Completing a GCSE is a fantastic achievement, and you should all take a moment to celebrate how far you have come.

A huge thank you must go to Miss Maddie for the time, care, and attention she has invested in this course over the past two years. Her dedication and support have helped guide these students every step of the way.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to St Christopher’s for being our examination centre. You have been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and accommodating to our studio. The effort you put into making our students feel part of the school community today did not go unnoticed. You truly went above and beyond to ensure the girls could sit their exam comfortably, taking away so much of the pressure and allowing them to focus on performing at their best.

We hope to offer this course again in the future, as we genuinely believe it has given our students a unique and valuable experience – the opportunity to achieve a full GCSE qualification without the constraints of a traditional school timetable, while still enjoying all the creativity, passion, and friendships that dance brings.

Girls, you have absolutely smashed it. Now it’s time to relax, celebrate, and be proud of everything you’ve accomplished.

We don’t often get the opportunity to perform as a full studio in a public setting, as most of what we do is shared with our families or at smaller competitions with our team.

For this event, we opened it up to anyone who wanted to take part, and the response was incredible. Our students put in extra lessons, worked so hard, and dedicated themselves to making sure our performance was something special for the community to enjoy.

I always remind them that when they wear our uniform, they represent everything we stand for as a studio—and once again, they made us proud. They rose to the challenge and showed everyone on that field, including many people seeing us for the very first time, exactly what we can do!
