Our Sunday boys are back at home this weekend for a very special occasion — their first ever match at Peel Park!

It’s been a long time coming, and we want to see as many of you down as possible to get behind the lads.

A convincing win could see the boys go top of the league, so there’s plenty to play for!

Come down, make some noise and give the lads the support they deserve.

The Peel Park Hotel will be open for cold and warm refreshments.

Two big games in the LFA Cup this weekend as both our First Team and Reserves hit the road, travelling to Fulwood and Poulton respectively.

Everyone knows we love a cup run at Peel Park, so we’ll be looking to come away with two victories and a place in the next round!

First Team – Tom Doran

A tenacious performance from Tom against Barlick, topped off with a fantastic opening goal.

Ran his socks off for the full 90 minutes and never stopped working.

Reserve Team – Ben Leather

Ben “Goals” Leather at it again with a brace!

On another day, he could easily have walked away with 3 or 4. A constant threat throughout.

Sunday Team – Ollie Dugdale

An absolute battering ram of a player!
Pressed relentlessly, led by example up front and topped it off with a well-taken goal.

Another win for our Sunday side as they come away 1-2 winners away at Kudos United Res!

Goals from Ollie Dugdale and Ben Leather put us 0-2 up before being reduced to 10 men.

Kudos pulled one back to make it 1-2, before we were reduced to 9 men.

The lads dug deep, battled right until the final whistle and showed unbelievable character to make sure we came away with all three points.

A 1-2 away win at Barnoldswick Town, which is always a tough place to go.

Barlick started quickly and played some tidy football, but two great finishes from Tom Doran and Joe Shaw saw us race into a 0-2 lead.

Barlick pulled one back before half-time, but a disciplined second-half performance from the lads meant they struggled to create any real chances to get back into the game.

In what was definitely a game of two halves.

5-0 down after just 25 minutes left us facing an almost impossible task against Kelbrook.

However, the lads showed unbelievable character in the second half, scoring five goals and coming within inches of completing an incredible comeback, eventually losing 5-6.

Great character and fight shown in the second half — but we need to start showing that from the first whistle.

We go again.

After a fantastic win in the LFA Cup, it’s back to league action as the Sunday side travel to Barnoldswick to face Kudos United Reserves.

We’ll be looking to continue the fine form we’ve been in and keep the momentum going.
