Penultimate weekend before the summer break and we have our U12s a
way at Drighlington on Saturday and our U10s at home against Sharlston Rovers.
On Sunday our U8s have a festival away at Stanley Rangers and Featherstone Lions will be joining them

It's sad we still have to remind kids to not do this but we will until they listen.
We don't want anymore children lost to going for a dip in a lake, pond, canal, etc to cool down because it can happen to anyone.

Our U12s have a midweek game at Jaguar Park tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7pm against Oulton Raiders

Our U10s are playing Sharlston at Pontefract Rugby Union and our U8s are playing a festival at Fryston which also includes Bentley.

Only 2 games this weekend. Our U12s are on the road to Keighley Albion and our U10s are Away at Lock Lane.
Today, our U10s travelled to Kings Cross Park and observed a minute’s silence in memory of Reco Puttock, who tragically passed away earlier this week.
Following the tribute, both teams produced a fantastic display of rugby league in challenging conditions, playing with great spirit, determination, and respect.

Just 2 games this weekend. Our U10s travel for an early game on Saturday to Kings Cross Park in Halifax and our U8s have a game against Sharlston on Sunday.

🐾 NEW PLAYERS & VOLUNTEER COACH WANTED: MINI JAGUARS! 🐾
Are your little ones aged 4 or currently in Reception? Want to get them active, building confidence, and making friends in a fun, supportive environment?
The Ackworth Jaguars are recruiting for our Mini Jaguars section! 🔵⚫️
We focus on Tag Rugby—a brilliant, non-contact, and completely safe introduction to the sport. It’s all about fun games, fundamental movement skills, and getting used to a rugby ball before they take the step up to team matches.
🗓️ Training Details:
When: Every Monday (Except Bank Holidays)
Time: 5:45pm to 6:30pm
Where: Jaguar Park
Who: Boys & girls aged 4 and in Reception
🏉 Looking to the Future!
We are laying the foundations now so this fantastic group is ready to start playing team matches in 2027! Give them a head start and let them grow with the club.
📢 WE NEED YOU: Volunteer Coach Wanted!
To give these mini players the best possible experience, we are looking for a new Volunteer Coach to lead the team on a permanent basis!
We currently have a temporary coach in place to keep things running, but we need someone to step up and make this team their own.
Full support, training, and RFL-specific DBS checks will be provided by the club.

Are your little ones energetic, love running around, and want to make new friends and in YEAR 1? The Ackworth Jaguars are building a brand-new Under-6s team for this year, and we want YOUR child to join the pack!
We play Tag Rugby—a fun, safe, and completely non-contact introduction to the game that focuses on teamwork, fundamental movement skills, and, most importantly, having fun!
