It’s lovely having Little crosby chasers back open so close to home. A few satnav errors on route but the girls got back eventually 🙈🤣

A quick 320mile round trip today to Arena UK Grantham for the riding club intermediate championships representing Longton Riding Club. Sadie and Warwick joined Lucy, Ella and Ethan in the 90cm junior team and came a very respectable 7th In awful weather conditions. Rain, rain and more rain. Well done kids.
Hopefully some better pictures to follow.

A few pictures from last weekends 90cm arena eventing.
Thanks Lottie Christian Photography for the pictures.
What we learnt was…… trying to ride a course such as this with a chest infection in icey gale winds wearing a body protector that is to tight can seriously affect your ability to breath. 😬Germs now all gone, better weather and a loosened body protector means we’re all ready for next time.

After a quiet winter it was great to be back out competing on the fabulous Cloven-le-Dale Warwick Heights at the Area 3 team qualifiers. Huge thanks to Gina Crook and Cathy Crook for the loan of Warwick. And massive thanks to Libby Simpson for the loan of your wagon.

Sadies first proper experience jumping a (big) horse around a course today. Massive thanks to the lovely Warwick for showing Sadie the ropes and Gina Crook for taking him and letting Sadie ride him. It’s amazing how much quicker you have to think when their legs are that much longer than ponies.

Another trip to the beach.

Always the best way for Sadie to spend an evening. Thanks Gina Crook. First time for this baby horse on the beach, she was shattered when they got back.

We made the Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre fb page. Excuse my crazy over excited (and very relieved because we were all safe heading to the finish mum)

A brilliant day at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre Hunter trails. My friend and I decided to have a go at pairs, we had no idea if we could pull it off but we did. Jumped clear and less than 1 second over the optimum time. Looks like Twinkle gets super speed when her friend is with her. We’ll definitely do pairs again.
You might notice that we channeled our inner Barbie’s and went for matching bright pink aka LeMieux Watermelon to compliment our Barbie ponies. 😝
And as always helping spread the word of The Lily-Jo Project in my ambassador jacket. 💗
