Welcome to Gartcairn Women FC, Zara Carey!
We are delighted to welcome goalkeeper Zara Carey to the club.
The 17-year-old arrives from Heart of Midlothian WFC, where she developed through the Hearts academy.
A Scottish stopper with real quality and huge potential, Zara is exactly the type of player we are looking to build around as we continue to grow and develop at Gartcairn. We are thrilled to be giving Zara the platform to take the next step in her career.

Welcome to Gartcairn Women FC, Mya Bates! 🖤🤍
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome wide midfielder Mya Bates to the club! Mya is a hugely exciting young talent who brings pace, creativity and a proven goalscoring threat to our squad.
The 21-year-old arrives with an impressive CV — she racked up 78 appearances for Spartans in the SWPL, netting 12 goals and contributing 6 assists along the way. She has also been recognised as SWPL Star Player of the Week, including a standout four-goal contribution in a single match against Dundee United.
On the international stage, Mya has represented Scotland at three youth levels — earning 1 cap at U15, 3 caps at U17 (including a memorable goal in a 4-1 win over Wales) and 9 caps at U19 level.
We can't wait to see what she brings to Gartcairn. Welcome, Mya! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽
