RACE Taekwon-do

🥋 Excellent work from the RACE Taekwon-Do team tonight! 👊
We kicked things off with a bit of a game to get warmed up, followed by a good stretch before getting stuck back into our pre-grading circuit. 💪
The team absolutely smashed it tonight — they put me to shame with how long it took me to get the circuit done! 😂 Excellent effort from everyone, showing great determination and hard work.
We finished off the session with some breaking practice, refining our technique and working on getting everything sharp and precise. 👊💥
Well done to everyone for the effort you’re putting in as we continue preparing for grading!

🥋 Great work from the team at RACE Taekwon-Do! 💪
Another great session with everyone putting in the work! 🔥
We kicked things off with a tough circuit from Ragan, focusing on the glutes, hamstrings and hips to strengthen the muscles we rely on for powerful, controlled kicking.
We then moved on to pad work, building up some longer combinations and focusing on flowing drills, improving timing, control and the ability to link techniques together smoothly. 👊
📢 Some exciting changes are coming! We’ve got a new structure for our classes on the way, with the kids’ class kicking off again soon! Keep your eyes peeled for an update with all the details.

🥋 Well done to the team at the ITF North Lanarkshire Open! 🥋
A fantastic day of competition, effort and experience for everyone involved. 💪👏

Aodhán – No medals this time, but worked hard and performed well in sparring. Great experience!

Stephen – Bronze in both patterns and sparring in his first ever competition! Fantastic achievement!

Ragan – Gold in both sparring and patterns in only his second competition! What a result!

Proud of all three for stepping up, giving it their best and representing the club so well. 💙🥋
Well done, team! 👏

A huge well done to Ragan on his first ever comp at the ICO Scottish Open. Holding his own in the low kick category after only one year of training and making the whole team proud.

Looking forward to the ITF North Lanarkshire Open where the rest of the team will be able to join in with the the experience!
