As you may already be aware; we - Airdrie Martial Arts Centre - won the vote to be awarded the Community Asset Transfer of Glenmavis Community Centre.

However - as is their right to do so - the Glenmavis Community Group have put in an appeal in an attempt to have this decision overturned.

The North Lanarkshire Council are again asking for people to put in Representations for this.

If you previously sent one in, we ask that you please do so again.

This can be as simple as regurgitating what you said in your first one - just to show support for our group (Airdrie Martial Arts Centre).

If you did not send one in the first time, we kindly ask that everyone please does so this time around.

A letter of support, along with your name and address (a post code or street name should do), for Airdrie Martial Arts Centre can be sent to [email protected] or even to us and we can pass it along.

This must be done and submitted by no later than close of business on Friday 31st July.
