⚫️⚪️🔵 MONTHLY TEAM UPDATE 🔵⚪️⚫️

A bit of a mixed bag over the last month, but plenty of positives for the team!

We began with a tough home tie against Bellshill in the Scottish Cup first round. A very tight game saw us dig deep and come away with a 3–2 win.

Next up was Rossvale in the Regional Cup. It wasn’t our best day at the office, with a 5–2 defeat bringing our run in the competition to an early end.

We returned to league action last week away to Oakley. It was very much a game of two halves, but a strong second-half performance helped us secure a comfortable 6–2 win and three points.

Today saw us travel to Stamperland for Scottish Cup round two, where another six goals secured a 6–3 victory and our place in the next round! 👏

Well done to all our goalscorers and Man of the Match winners over the last few weeks, and to the whole squad for their efforts.

A massive shout-out to our sponsors, as always. Your continued support makes all of this possible—we couldn’t do it without you! 💙

Greengairs 0–2 Airdrie

Not the way we wanted to start our league campaign, with a disappointing result today.

A bad day at the office, but that’s football. We’ll dust ourselves down, get straight back into it at training on Monday and prepare for a big week ahead with the first round of the Scottish Cup next weekend. 🏆⚽️

As always, a massive thank you to all of our sponsors for their continued support of the team. It really is appreciated. 👏

🏆 LEAGUE CUP ROUND-UP

Our League Cup campaign got off to a disappointing start with defeat to Cumbernauld Colts. We created plenty of chances on the day but just couldn’t take them.

Next up was Lenzie, and despite another defeat, it was a much stronger performance from the boys. At 2-2 the game could have gone either way, but unfortunately it was Lenzie who found the winner.

Game 3 took us away to Oakley, where we came away with a 6-5 win. Three points on the board, although despite the goals scored, it certainly wasn’t one we’d be rushing to watch back! 😅

Today’s final group game against Cumbernauld Colts was where it finally clicked. An excellent performance from the boys saw us come away from Broadwood with a 5-2 win. 💪

Despite conceding an early penalty, the heads never went down. We stuck to our game, got ourselves back into it and went on to take control. Some exceptional individual performances, a really strong team display and a couple of fantastic goals along the way. ⚽️🔥

The League Cup has given us four competitive games to get ourselves up and running, and now the focus switches to league duty next week as we get our 2026/27 season underway. 🔵⚫️

As always, a massive thank you to all of our team sponsors for their continued support. It really is appreciated by everyone at the team. 👏⚽️
