You wouldn’t think that this bike is used as a daily commuter! Came in needing some TLC, leaves looking as fresh as the day it left the shop!

Been slightly quiet on the servicing front, must mean that everyone has been out enjoying the weather.. or the football.

Had this lovely TCR for a full service prior to its owner heading off to do LEJOG.

All bearing cleaned and regreased, full index and Brake adjust along with the normal full degrease wash pressure dry and re-lubricated.

When a customer calls you to tell you that he has had an incident on his bike, he is fine but the bike is a write off. He is desperate to get back on the road ASAP for a charity ride on the 12th June.

Luckily I was able to provide the customer with a new frame kit and build it up utilising what parts we could from his original bike. Took the call on Saturday and the new bike has been handed over today.

One very lucky man to have escaped any injuries and also one very happy man that he can continue with his charity rides. (Customer has so far raised in excess of £30,000!!)

Today's customer came to me for some advice after being told by a high street chain that to fix shifting and chain rub problems they needed to replace various components including the chain, a rear cassette and cables throughout, (the bike was purchased brand new 12 months ago).

I had a look over the bike and agree that there were shifting and chain rub issues, I have rectified the problems and given the bike a standard service only having to replace one internal gear cable.

Sometimes it takes technical knowledge and patience to fix things not just throwing new new components at the bike!

Customer will be put riding again this week.

Today's customer has took advantage of the standard service, along with a puncture repair.
Whilst carrying out this service I have performed a full safety check as the customer felt that, even from new, this bike has felt noisy and rattly... Every nut, bolt and bearing has been checked and torqued to the recommended settings and now the bike feels solid.
