Alcester Town Walking Football Teams Shine at Regional Finals! 🌟

Today, Over 50s and Over 60s Walking Football teams proudly represented Alcester Town at the regional finals of The FA Walking Football Cup 2026 in Wigan. Having qualified as County of Worcestershire champions, both teams showcased their skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day.

While they fought valiantly in their respective groups, they both missed out qualifying for the finals. Despite this, their performance
reflects the dedication and hard work they’ve put in all season. We are immensely proud of our players for reaching this stage and for their achievements as county champions.
Our players would like to put on record how well the tournament was reffed and what sportsmanship was displayed by all of our opponents today-a truly great reflection of walking football at its best@top fans

Dear Team,

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for being part of Alcester Town Walking Football.
Joining this club is about so much more than just playing; it’s about being part of a true family that uplifts our community and beyond.

I had an incredible experience recently attending a Bon Jovi concert at Wembley, all thanks to our generous member, Neil Lawrence, who shared his extra tickets.

Moments like these remind me that it’s never just about the music or the football; it’s the friendships and connections we build that truly enrich our lives.

Thank you all for creating such an amazing club and providing such a great journey and friendship ❤️.
