Well what can I say about yesterday …the hardest most painful and toughest thing I have ever done in my life ….lots of mental head games with myself all the way round to stop me from quitting, thanks to everyone who came to support and thanks to the amazing supporters across Manchester ….there were times I wanted to stop running and high fiving people dressed as bees in the final miles was just the motivation to keep things moving
Very emotional and body draining day all round but would I do it again …? 😳🫤 I kinda want to !!
As most of you know I was running this for in memory of my mum and dad who I lost to cancer , my mum a few years ago and my dad more recently a few months ago #
My link is still live for donations if you can spare anything at all it will be welcomed and don’t forget to click gift aid

Less than 24 hours to go until my first ever marathon….😳😬🏃♂️, which I will be running to raise money for after losing my mum a few years ago to cancer , and more recently my dad to lung cancer in December 2023
Have I trained enough ? ….no where near !
Am I nervous ? ….like you wouldn’t believe !!!!
Have I eaten the right foods?, drinking the right amount of fluids? , is my kit correct? Have I forgotten anything ? What’s my travel plans tomorrow? What will I eat in the morning before the run? Will I go to the toilet before the race 🤞😬?
Will I even sleep tonight …?
I’m sure I am not the only one asking myself these questions ?🤷♂️ needless to say I am equally excited and terrified and nervous all at the same time
….and breathe
See everyone who’s running tomorrow 🏃♂️🏃♂️🙌🏻💪🏻
And if you can spare anything at all my link is below for donations 🙏

He’s laughing as he’s just completed his quickest he’s ever done, 28 minutes is a very very respectable 5k time, and it’s almost 10 minutes quicker than his first one a few weeks ago 🙌🏻💪🏻🏃♂️
Just a few weeks to go now until for in memory of my mum and dad and everyone else affected by cancer

Charlie rocking another this morning , little bit cold but overall a nice start to the day for us both
1 in 2 are affected by Cancer …and Cancer is a big part of my life unfortunately , for lots of reasons …
Losing my mum to cancer a few years ago, my nan also a few years ago, my mother in law and my uncle in the last few years ,and in the last few months, my dad lost his short battle with cancer, I’m overweight and haven’t ran consistently since finishing my 5k everyday challenge , but I am fully committed to running and completing the Manchester Marathon in April 2024 to raise as much as I can for Cancer Research UK
Donate to my page today and help make a difference to someone who is battling cancer…
