People seem to chase short cuts.
The quick, fast, easy route.
They sell themselves short of reaping the real rewards.
❓The problem with all of these is lack of sustainable results
You are not required to make habit changes.
If you don’t change the habits that got you there in the first place your transformation will never be permanent.
Sometimes it takes a little thinking outside of the box, changing habits and behaviours. Establish a healthy relationship with both food and exercise. Seek accountability and education from someone who knows, who has been there and fallen into every pit fall...

WHY THINGS AREN’T ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM
What do you see when you look at this picture?

Taken back in 2012 when I competed in a figure competition, this picture reminds me of life at it’s most extreme.
I was tired 😴 depleted, my menstrual cycle had stopped and my body was growing excess hair to compensate for the weight I had lost.
To me, this is a perfect example of what we see on Instagram... those honed, perfectly sculpted models with chiselled six packs.
The Californian dream 🤩🤩🤩 selling the ideal that with the perfect body you will achieve wealth, fame, success and everything will click into place 🔐🔥 what you don’t see are the sacrifices made to get there... the hunger, the long days, exhaustion, mental fog, cancelling social plans.
Stop chasing social media ideals, set your own goals and be true to yourself

It’s National crohns and colitis week so I thought I’d write a little about my journey so far.
I was diagnosed in 2003 with Ulcerative colitis a condition that affects your large intestine/colon whereby your immune system attacks healthy cells in the body breaking them down. Symptoms include extreme fatigue, abdominal cramps, fever, gut pain, uncontrollable urge to use the bathroom sometimes producing blood.
I know I would not have had such a strong mindset had I not had to face such adversity and mental struggle. I refuse to accept ‘I can’t’ I can and I will.
I often go through periods of self doubt & low confidence I just need to remember I am more than capable. We all are.
The only limits we have are those we place upon ourselves.
