Finally managed to solved my alternator problem. Having utilised a lightweight alternator setup it turned out that 50a just wasn’t cutting the mustard with the EPS.

In stepped Brise Motorsport to sort out the problem. Keeping the custom mounting points but upping the power to 90a. Problem solved 💆🏻‍♂️. Whilst we were they I got a big upgrade in one of their K20 starter motors, smaller, lighter and more powerful 🦾.

Just a full fluids fill and a remote basemap away from actually firing her up…it’s only been 3 months right? 😇

ANNOUNCEMENT

Army Sports Car Racing Selection Event and Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The ASCR team are to hold a training/selection event and their AGM at Keevil Barracks on 25 Mar 22.

This event offers the opportunity for the drivers and support crews to be selected for the 2022 season, a training session to be delivered on race car preparation by a current BTCC No2 Mechanic, and finally the AGM, where all team members, existing and new, can be briefed on the plans for the upcoming season.

Any SP wishing to attend or requiring an invite should read the FAQ section and fill in the “contact us” form at www.armysportsracing.com in order to be placed onto the Administrative Instruction. All personnel attending MUST be paid members of the British Army Motorsports Association.
