Army World Taekwondo - 4 Day Course and BT Grading

Having a great time and we wish you were here.

We deliver progressive and challenging Taekwondo activities.

Training is available to Army Regulars, Reserves, UOTC, FTRS, MGS and MPGS and is free.

Both ITF and WT Teams will be training over the period 23-26 Feb 26 and then competing in the Army Open 27 Feb 26. Bids will close shortly, so be sure to contact us for further details.

Army World Taekwondo - British Taekwondo Kyorugi Referee Course

Congratulations to Chelsea, Suraj, Madhu and Matt on successfully completing the BT referee course. This will aid their continued development and provide Army TKD with skills to force multiply and deliver more.

We have enjoyed delivering progressive Taekwondo throughtout 2025, investing in hundreds of Army personnel, assisting to reach their goals. We were delighted that Gdsm Dlamini was voted as Army Sportsman of the Year 25, particularly after his successful comeback from cancer. Several players completed the British Taekwondo coaching course and graded; force multipliers. We entered many competitions winning the Interservices 25, and taking medals in national and international competitions. Thank you to our kind sponsors, leadership, coaches, officials and enthusiastic players for supporting our activities, we appreciate your support and investment. Our next course will take place in Feb 26, and we hope that you may benefit from our activities and resources if you are in our target audience.

Master Madhu - 5th Dan - Congratulations

Army World Taekwondo extends its congratulations to Madhu Ghimire on his promotion to 5th Dan. This achievement reflects his exceptional dedication, discipline, and technical excellence. He demonstrated the highest standard required by both British Taekwondo and World Taekwondo, successfully meeting all elements of their advanced grading.

Army Sportsman of the Year 25

Thandor was as ever humble and appreciative when he was crowned Army sportsman of the year. He has overcome serious medical issues to regain the No1 ranked player in Eswatini and for the Army. Congratulations from Army Sport, Army Martial Arts Association, Team management and team mates, the chain of command and kind sponsors.
