U6 SAPLINGS
Some very happy coaches today as our new U6 team moved up from training with the dodgeballs. The girls started the season off training with a size 4 netball today and we couldn’t be prouder of how well they adjusted. They adapted super well to a bigger ball and even managed to overhead pass it and play with it in matches.

ALDRIDGE U8
What a team this was!! These girls stepped up last minute after a team pulled out. With most of them being only 8 years old and having to play in the U10 section against older and taller girls they went above expectations. They listened to instructions and advice and played some brilliant netball down court. The girls target for the day was to score one goal and they only went and got 2! They even managed to score against the eventual winners.
Improvement was evidential in the scorelines throughout the day. Agaisnt one team they lost 8-0 in the round robin and then in the later stages lost 4-0 with lots of chances at goal.
The club is super proud of them for stepping up with such maturity and standing up to the challenge.

U11 MAPLES
Maples also had a great day at our own annual tournament, they got some great wins and after a hard fought day managed to finish a respectable 3rd place in the plate. The girls beat 2nd place 1-0 however could t quite win some of their other matches to keep in 2nd place. Super proud of the girls and their improvement over the day.

U15/16 LIONESSES
Lionesses had a fun outing at our very own tournament. After a few hard matches in the morning against some high-level teams they were placed in the plate. The squad narrowly missed out on the 2nd place finish by just 2 goals, although they drew to the eventual runners up. Well done girls!
