Bourne Vale Stables

Due to our Friday session being fully booked we are starting a second tiny tots session. Saturday at 12.30pm.

Each session will take up to 4 children ages 3-5 years old. They will groom/pet the ponies and have a little ride in the school.

Fridays Pony Club was the colours and markings achievement badge.

As part of this the members helped to bath Blue so they could identify his colour, which is much more clear when he’s wet.

A fun morning (before it got too hot) with some of the Pony Club members having a go at mounted games with the help and expertise of Caroline who’s visited us as the area 7 mounted games head coach.

They had a go at lots of different games such as bending, throwing and collecting, removing and replacing a flag as well as collect the sweetie race!

Big shout out to Rosie who still attended the day even though she couldn’t ride as the night before she’d fallen out of a tree and broken her arm!! She was devastated she couldn’t come so asked if she could watch and take help set the equipment up as well as support her fellow Pony Club members. That true dedication and Pony Club spirit!!!!

Mounted games is great for getting riders riding with reins in one hand and learning to balance in a different way all whilst having lots of fun!

Pony Club Mounted Games session has just a couple of spaces left for tomorrow.

This event is the only one this year so DO NOT MISS OUT if you fancy a go!

Members must be on the 1 hour classes to attend.

Yesterday we had our annual trip to Canwell Show with Abi and Logan who managed a win in a ridden class 🏆🥇

They both looked super smart and he went beautifully for his first go at ridden showing 💪🏻👏🏻

Well done to Pony Club members who have passed their D test today.

The morning was spent practicing and revising. This afternoon they have taken the test which includes a ridden and horsemanship assessment.

Congratulations to you all, you were a pleasure to assess today. Let’s go for the D+ soon 👏👏👏
