Keeling School of dance is the Midlands longest running dance school offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft, Gymnastics, Street and Contempary Ages 3 to Adult.

Yesterday Margaret celebrated her 95th Birthday ๐๐ฅณ๐ฐ
She often chats about her days teaching gymnastics at Keelings. Iโm sure she would love to hear any stories or memories you may have. I fondly remember her and Hazel spontaneously demonstrating a cartwheel or a head balance mid class much to our delight ๐คธ
We hope she had a wonderful birthday love everyone at Keelings School of Dance โค๏ธ

Today was our second week to entertain another care home with our mini version of The Nutcracker.
This week was extra special as this is the home of Margaret a former gymnastics teacher at Keelings. It was so lovely to see her and chat to her and some of the other residents.
Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to perform so wonderfully, we are once again very proud of you all โค๏ธ
Also a massive shout out to Richard Beckett
Who gave an impromptu performance singing โHave Yourself a Merry Little Christmasโ ๐ต๐ถ
So lovely to see some of the residents singing along.

Following the tragic events in Southport on Monday we are looking into improving security at the dance school. We have installed a key pad on the studio door so once closed it can not be opened without the code. We are also planning on having a more secure door at the bottom of the stairs but just need to get some advice on what would work best. If anyone has any recommendations please let us know.
As a dance school we have had our own summer school this week which as always has been a lovely week. We have taken lots of photos which we will share soon. However right now our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been taken too soon and their families and friends ๐
