Sorry folks we need to push this event out to the end of the year - date to be confirmed.

And we’re thinking of switching it up a bit. YOU give us the songs you want on the playlist - 80s and 90s welcome - Β£5 a song. Who’s up for that?

We love seeing bits of our history like this - many thanks to Nigel Horan for sharing and letting us know how much his Dad enjoyed playing for ADCC after WW2. πŸ₯°

🏏 STILL SO MUCH TO PLAY FOR! 🏏

As we approach the end of the season, there is still everything to play for at Alford & District Cricket Club!

Yesterday, our First XI travelled to Holton-le-Clay for a must-win match and produced a superb batting performance, posting an excellent 202.

The outstanding Neil Calvert once again showed his quality with the bat, scoring a magnificent unbeaten 66. Neil is a hugely accomplished batsman and an England Veterans playerβ€”and performances like this demonstrate exactly why!

It was a total we felt confident we could defend, but sadly, we were beaten not by the opposition, but by the weather. Torrential rain brought the game to an early end, meaning we had to share the points.

The battle continues next Saturday when our First XI host Bracebridge Heath, while our Second XI travel to Grimoldby, hoping to secure the promotion their performances this season thoroughly deserve.

There is some thrilling cricket ahead over the next few weeks. If you can, please come along, support the teams and get behind the club! 🏏🍻

One club. Two big games. Everything still to play for!
