Please be mindful that we are accepting entries on the day so these numbers are expected to change.

☀️We are aware of the temperature that has been forecast for tomorrow, we will monitor it through the day and makes changes accordingly so that all horses and competitors welfare is our utmost priority. We will make everyone aware of what these changes may be on the day.
We do have shaded areas in and around our car park and our warm- up arena is cooling as the breeze can get through the sides of the arena☀️

💦 There is a tap in our car park and we will have buckets of water throughout the car park which we will keep full💦

👔 We are happy for competitors to not wear show jackets to try and enable everyone to keep cool as possible.👔

The THREE highest placed exhibits will qualify in each class. 🚨🚨

Please see the schedule that is pinned to the top of our page. We have made the decision to use the full outdoor arena for our working hunter course therefore the ridden and the in-hand will both be held in our large spacious indoor. The warm up will be in the covered arena🙂

⚠️ Arena Hire Cancellation Notice ⚠️

Following the Met Office issuing an Extreme Weather Warning, the first of this level since 2022, when temperatures reached 40.5°C we have made the decision to cancel all arena hire bookings until Friday.

While temperatures are expected to be high, our main concern is the extreme humidity, which is forecast to be even more severe than during the recent May heatwave. These conditions significantly increase the risk of heat stress and overheating in horses, even during light exercise.

The welfare of the horses in our care must always come first, and we cannot responsibly allow horses to be worked in these conditions.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to monitor the forecasts and provide updates should conditions improve sooner than expected.

If you have already booked an arena please get in touch and we can find an alternate arrangement.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us put horse welfare first.
