Our residents enjoyed a lovely fruit tasting, with a selection of fresh fruit to try. It was the perfect treat for the sunny weather! ☀️

📚 Book Club Today 📚

Today in Book Club, we enjoyed reading about holidays and having a bit of a sweet tooth! The story sparked lots of lovely conversations as residents shared memories of holidays they have enjoyed over the years, from seaside trips to family getaways.

We also reminisced about some classic sweets from years gone by, bringing back plenty of smiles and fond memories. It was wonderful to hear everyone’s stories and see so much laughter around the table.

A lovely afternoon of reading, reminiscing, and great company. ❤️

Wimbledon fun at our home today! 🎾

Inspired by the start of Wimbledon, our residents enjoyed a lively game of Balloon Tennis. There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great team spirit as everyone got involved.

It was wonderful to see residents cheering each other on and having fun together!👟🎾

🎟️ RAFFLE PRIZES NEEDED 🎟️

We’re looking for raffle prize donations for our Summer Fair on Saturday 1st August at The Meadows Care Home.

Any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Ideas include gift vouchers, chocolates, toiletries, hampers, books, toys, and unwanted new gifts.

All proceeds will go towards our residents’ fund.

🍦☀️ We were visited byEmma & Jens Super Whippy this morning, and everyone loved the ice cream!

It was the perfect treat for the warm weather, and residents and staff enjoyed every minute.

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, and father figures we are lucky to have in our home. 💙

Earlier this week, we held a special Father’s Day photoshoot with our residents, capturing lots of smiles and creating some lovely memories ahead of today’s celebrations.

We hope everyone has a fantastic Father’s Day and enjoys time with their loved ones. 🌟

Our residents made the most of the wonderful sunshine today, spending time relaxing and socialising in the garden. 🌞🌷

The beautiful weather provided the perfect opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, admire the flowers, and share plenty of smiles and conversation with friends.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to enjoy the simple pleasures that each day brings. 💚

Our residents were delighted to welcome Jovi, the miniature Shetland pony from Four Paws Animal Assisted Therapy, to The Meadows today. 🐴💚

There were lots of smiles as residents enjoyed spending time with Jovi, giving him plenty of fuss and attention. Visits like these always bring joy and brighten everyone’s day 🤗
