Alfreton Town Juniors FC

This Vipers showcased their new kit for the season this afternoon at the Market Warsop Tournament.

The football on display was amazing to watch. Unfortunately falling short in the quater finals to a very strong team. However we were all super proud of their efforts winning 3 out of 4 group stage matches leaving us 2nd in the group.

Well done today to the U9 Vipers in their 2nd tournament of the summer this morning.
Some amazing football on display and eveyone should be really proud of their performance.
Unfortunately just missing out, losing in the final of the plate but some great team spirit and determination to get there. Including winning 2 penalty shoot outs on the way without missing a penalty.

ATJFC U10s Lionesses

Our ATJFC U10s Lionesses have competed in two tournaments over the past two weeks and have done brilliantly. The girls performed well as a team and showed off many of the skills they have worked hard to develop throughout the season. A huge well done to all the girls!

The team is now enjoying a much-needed break for a couple of weeks before we return to training. We have another tournament and some friendly matches planned before the new season gets underway.
The girls and coaches would also like to thank the club for the fantastic presentation evening and everyone involved in making it such a special afternoon.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the great season the girls have had and to recognise all of their achievements.

Each year we award “The Gold Cup” to the team/s that have had great success throughout the season. Whilst it is never all about winning we like to aknowledge the achievements our teams have made!

This year two ATJFC teams achieved the exact same and therefore the award was shared. Both teams were promoted as runners up in their leagues and both teams went on to win their League Cup competitions 👏🏆

At ATJFC we love to celebrate not just our achievements but our clubs commitment to delvelopment and inclusivity. Each year we award our “Team of the Year” trophy to the team/s we feel have epitomised these qualities ❤️🏆

This year the committee decided that two teams deserved this award and each team was presented with the trophy yesterday at our Presentstion.

This years ATJFC Communtiy Team of the Year joint winners are;

Shoutout for Graham Parker from Football Fun Factory who also coaches ATJFC Tigers for giving up his day to entertain the kids with a giant inflatable dartboard!
The individual winner was Gracie from the Diamonds who has won herself an England shirt with an impressive score of 144! 👏⚽️🎯

The team winners with a score of 431 are the Vipers who have won themselves a £50 voucher for Ivy & I!
