The many faces of epic expedition bike adventuring!

A quick swipe through the photos from the Haute Route of James Tedders and I while we sweated, toiled, laughed and whooped across Switzerland.

I'm putting together the footage to show folks what its like over the next few weeks and to encourage you to chase your dreams and not hold back, so keep an eye out, and if you want advanced notice, pop on to YouTube and subscribe to the channel - everything in there is designed to encourage you to get out on your bike in the mountains and get some adventure in your life.

What a difference 2 weeks makes!

This is my last weeks this year running the outdoor adventure element of the day job, while 2 weeks ago James Tedders and I were dropping in to the Zermatt Valley after 6 days of hard and amazing riding.

The theme this week so far has been choosing to do the hard things so that we're better prepared for the u avoidable hard things in life, and lst night fittes the theme perfectly - autumnal scotland at its best as well.

The campsite was surrounded by barking nadgers, snuffling pigs and roaring stags, while many 'enjoyed' their very first night in a tent.

It being autumn and dropping to 4 degrees at night I also introduced them to reaponsible bothy use (but they slept under canvass)

Tbey have left an immacate campsite, fed a d watered themselves and are now walking themselves back to tbe road for their pickup

People forget how able and resilient teenagers can be if they are motivated and given a. chance.
anyhow, nice wee stroll this morning on as lovely autumm morning, next up - jumping in rivers!! πŸ˜‰
