A slow start but towards the latter part of the first half, Kolle showed great persistence and determination, constantly applying pressure, resulting in his first goal for Wasps Black 👏

The second half was a completely different story. The boys came out with real energy and belief and never gave up, showing fantastic character and determination throughout.

Harrison pulled one back to give us hope, before a fantastic team move involving Munro and Noah created the opportunity for Campbell, who produced a brilliantly placed finish to bring us level.

Late in the game, Harrison stepped up again, firing home his second of the day to round off an excellent second-half performance and a fantastic team comeback. Plus we had some super saves from Niall!

What a game today, GOALS Galore 💥

We were 2-0 up, then found ourselves 4-3 down, and with only around 5 minutes left we were 6-3 behind… somehow the boys dug in, kept believing and came all the way back to win the match……….Absolutely unbelievable. 💥💥💥💥💥 💥💥

That result says everything about the team spirit in this group. They showed grit, determination and refused to give up right until the very end. Seeing all the boys celebrating together at full time was probably the best part of it - they really earned that moment. Plus classic Mourinho moments of celebration from our coaches on the sideline. Even our Joyce from The Pie Hunt commented “what a come back”🐝

Sandy with another 5 goals, and big performances all over the pitch from the whole team. Lewis was deservedly POTM after a brilliant performance 👏🏆

So proud of every one of them today. That’s exactly the mentality we want - keep going, keep fighting and do it together.

Some excellent football, plenty of passing and moving, but the biggest thing for me was how well the boys worked for each other and covered each other all over the pitch. The team mentality is really starting to show 👏🏻

A competitive game yesterday for Wasp Black that could have gone either way, with plenty of positives to take from a really encouraging first outing at 9-a-side for the boys. Harrison opened his tally for the season in style, finding the top corner with a fantastic finish 🥅 ⚽️

What a start to the season! 🐝⚽️

Brilliant match against Grangemouth this morning, we are really proud of the boys. We played fantastic football, other than the 3 free kicks we conceded, I thought we controlled the game very well.
