The Soulful Skate Co. board fleet has casually doubled in size over the last five months, which is great news for lessons and terrible news for my storage situation.

Ross built me the first skateboard holder as a present because apparently he knows the way to my heart is through storage solutions 😅

So last week I built a second one in the workshop.

Turns out spending the last year and a half learning power tools through the van build has made me dangerously confident around bits of wood and a drill.

And because I’m a longboard snob after years of being lovingly corrupted by Vandem, I’m very picky about boards.

I would never put a beginner, improver or private lesson customer on a board I wouldn’t happily ride myself.

So yes, this is technically a post about a skateboard rack.

But it’s also a small love letter to good equipment, learning new skills, and the fact my board storage is finally looking extremely satisfying.

Last slide: caught napping on the job because apparently building your own business also means taking breaks wherever you accidentally find them 🫠

Tiring work, this skateboard thing.
