🏏 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE SEASON! 💚

And what a way to finish! 🙌

The final weekend brought THREE WINS and ONE DRAW for ACC - with some brilliant cricket played right across the club👏🔥

There were plenty of brilliant individual performances, team efforts and moments to be proud of, with some of the weekend highlights below 👇

But before we officially put the whites away… a HUGE thank you to everyone who makes Alsager Cricket Club what it is.

🔥 BOWLING MASTERCLASS FROM OUR SUNDAY A SIDE! 🔥

What a performance from the Alsager attack! 💚

Khalid Yosofzai was the star of the show with a brilliant 5/22 from 9.2 overs, claiming his fifer and helping rip through the Moddershall Sport Asia batting line-up 🎯🔥

Waqas Hussain also chipped in with an excellent 4/15 from 10 overs, as the pair combined to bowl Moddershall Sport Asia out for just 45 runs in 19.2 overs! 👏

Nine wickets between them - now that’s a bowling partnership! 🔥

🏆 ACES ARE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a way to round off the league season for our Alsager Ladies!

The Division 7 Softball title came right down to the wire, with the top two finishing level on points and the league winners ultimately decided by net run rate! 😱🏏

And it’s our Aces who come out on top! 🏆

In only their second season playing cricket and the ladies have done an absolutely brilliant job - showing plenty of determination, teamwork and, of course, the all-important fun along the way! 😂

Aces captain Rachel summed up the season:

“What a season! I couldn’t be prouder of this incredible bunch. First year as the Aces and we’ve only gone and won the league. Hard work, chaos, laughs, and a whole lot of cricket life squeezed in between everything else we juggle. Alsager Ladies - champions, always!” 💜
