Hi Everyone,

This week marks two years since Alton Osteopaths opened its doors at the gym, and I wanted to take a moment to say a genuine thank you.

Whether you have come to see me as a patient, recommended me to someone else, stopped for a chat, or simply helped create such a welcoming environment to work in, I really appreciate the support you have given my small business over the past two years.

When I first opened, I hoped to build a practice where people could come not only when they were in pain, but where they could also get the support they needed to understand their body, recover from injuries and, importantly, get back to moving and training with confidence.

Over the past two years, I have been fortunate enough to work with people of all ages and fitness levels. From people who have never really exercised before, through to regular gym-goers and athletes, one of the things I enjoy most is helping people find a way to keep moving and return to the activities and training that are important to them.

Being based within the gym has also been a huge part of that. Rehabilitation does not have to mean stopping everything you enjoy. Often, with the right approach, it is about understanding what needs to be modified, what can still be trained and how to progressively build back towards doing what you want to do.

So, whether you are already a patient of mine or have simply seen me wandering around the gym for the past two years, thank you for being part of the journey so far.

And if you have been thinking about getting something looked at- whether it is an injury, ongoing pain, a ni**le that keeps coming back, or something that is stopping you from training as effectively as you would like - please feel free to come and have a chat with me.

Here’s to the next two years!
