A great day Aldersey Green Golf Club in some incredible conditions. 18 members enjoyed the unusual Florida scramble format which yielded a final winning score of 62 for Lady Captain Pam Greenall and her team, Barry, Ian and Su. Congratulations to all the Alty members that signed up and a big thank you to Glynis Brown for organising the day🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and golf this weekend. A busy week for all starting with the 5 club Shield Saturday, and AGC Memorial today. A chance for some knockout matches so congratulations if you had a positive result in your respective matches. Big scalps this weekend as Mr Miller and Macca takeout who some backed for the final, Roy Dickens and John Hogan. Lee Lomas and partner Ian Cheetham(who was also playing), dispatched(dismissed)Dave Doughty and Andy Mills 5&4. Tomorrow sees our mixed away-day to Aldersey Green with a fun format of Florida scramble, midweek comps Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and the week ends with our Friday pub night in the clubhouse.🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️

Congratulation to Mr Captain, Brian Cawley. Not only was he celebrating his 73rd birthday, but with his usual military precision, Brian coordinated his team of amazing volunteers to provide all day breakfast for members in the J Greatbanks competition, enjoyed the Manchester win over Chelsea and then to run the quiz night. Thanks to all the team and volunteers assisting Brian and his drive to support Cure Parkinson's. Take the Sunday day off Mr Captain👏👏👏

Looks like our members had a great time at Walton Hall golf course on the first of this seasons mixed midweek outings. A big thanks to Peter Yates for organising the day.
