Lots of mini game winners yesterday. Congratulations to our nearest the pin winners John Gleave, Nick Blackman (guest),Lee Lomas. Nearest the pin in 2, Daz Drinkwater. A special mention for Carwyn Williams who smashed the putting comp, Carwyn holed 4 out of 5 putts to beat any contender. Finally our Sunsidiary comp winners, Dan Buckley and Sue Cunningham with 42 points.🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️

Remember back in the day when golf invitation days were all about hosting friends, old and new sharing a few drinks with lots of fun games for everyone! That’s why we still do things the way we do at Alty. Against the threat of a downpour members turned out in force to get the day underway on the first tee.🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏻‍♂️

Great to see members spending their own time volunteering hours on the course. Roberta Jane Upton looks like you’ve started a trend. A big thanks to Dan Buckley. Maybe next time Altrincham Golf Course & Driving Range can sort his buggy out to do a little more👏🙏🏌🏻‍♂️

Congratulations to the winner of the J Ford, AGC Championship, Rob Burrows. Rob played Round 1 with 74 gross and Round 2 backed it up with a 78. 🏆🥇🏆Certainly a worthy winner given the hours Rob is putting into improving his game this season.👏👏👏

A big thankyou to all the volunteers that spent time raking bunkers and clearing broken tees from the course today👏👏👏. Doing the divot party during our tee times does highlight that we still have some members not taking care on the course and raking bunkers. If there is no rake in the bunker, just use the back of your club🤷‍♂️.
