Altrincham Swimming Club

Well done to this fantastic squad of swimmers who came to long course training today. Coaching wise I had my work cut out with a lot of swimmers in one lane all needing to get the best out of the session; but the swimmers worked hard and they look like they enjoyed it!

We’ve been refocusing on attendance over the last few months in the top 2 squads and we are delighted to announce our top attendees for May!

Our Swimmer ABCs are the cornerstone of our club values, with attendance being a real focus: good attendance aids swimmer improvements and builds squad culture and team spirit 💪💪

After receiving confirmation that additional timing chips are available for the event we are delighted to announce that the capacity has now increased from 200 to 250 participants limited number of spaces that are now available for the open water championships. Llanelli May 2026 - Round 2 of the British Triathlon Super Series

We are so proud of club member Darcey who is truly making waves in the triathlon world and her hard work is paying off!

Darcey had an incredible result a couple of weeks ago finishing as the 6th junior 💙💛 She was fastest out of the water 💪finishing in the top few including the seniors and she also did the 2nd fastest junior run split. With a little bit of fine tuning on the bike and transitions, Darcey is seriously one to watch for the future!

Well done Darcey! Keep shining 🌟
