Excited news, Ross Montgomery signs for the 26/27 season.

🎙️”I’m excited to be joining Bowdon for the 26/27 season and can’t wait to experience all that England and the club have to offer.”

At Bowdon, we want to make it easier for Mums or older women to get back to the sports they enjoy, so we have created some options to play hockey flexibly around family or work commitments.

With two training options a week, a great coaching team and 8 teams, we have something for everyone and currently recruiting adults for our lower club teams

Congratulations to our juniors who have been competing hard over the summer in the TA Cup: Minnie, Aibhlin, Chloe, Flo, Luba, Grace, Suzanne,
Harry and James. The Girls’ TA team, Captained by Grace, came an amazing 3rd in the country, with Boys finishing 11th.

Four players have subsequently been put forward for England Hockey NAGs assessment: Chloe for U18s and Minnie, Aibhlin and James for U16s.

The FIH Hockey World Cup starts this weekend and every England, Scotland and Wales match will be available live and free on Channel 4 Sport YouTube.

This is a huge opportunity for hockey at a time when many Olympic sports, and the recent Commonwealth Games, are finding it harder than ever to secure free-to-view coverage. With Channel 4 backing our sport, England Hockey has sent a plea to all clubs asking them to support the decision of Channel 4 to broadcast this. By watching, we show the level of interest in watching hockey and justify future coverage.
