A fantastic weekend at our Presentation Day 2026 ✨

A huge congratulations to all of our students (children, teens and adults alike) who took part. You were all amazing and put on a wonderful display of everything we do at June Rendell Altrincham Dance Academy. We received such lovely feedback, and we are immensely proud of each and every one of you. 👏

Thank you to all the parents, family and friends who came along to support our dancers, and to everyone who helped behind the scenes. Your continued support means so much to us. A special thank you to our senior girls for all of their hard work onstage and backstage helping our younger children throughout the weekend. 💐

Thank you to Olivia for returning from The Hammond to compere both shows and help backstage, to Sophie, who came back from university to be our music technician for both performances and did a fantastic job, and to Janice and Elaine for helping at the front of house. 💛

Finally, a huge thank you to all of our teachers and staff. Although Presentation Day is only a small-scale production, it takes months of planning and preparation, and we’re so grateful for the commitment, passion and time they give to make these performances possible and create memories that our dancers will cherish for years to come.🌟

Some of our talented dancers will be taking to the stage at the wonderful Martin Toal Annual Concert, performing their Stars for Tonight routines as well as dancing alongside incredible live musicians and singers.

Local tenor Martin Toal is back for his hugely popular Summer Gala Concert at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse.

"England's Winning Tenor" has sung at the Etihad, Old Trafford, Twickenham and Wembley and was recently a guest soloist with the Royal Marines Band.

This year's event is taking place on Thursday 2nd July at 7.30pm.

Highlights will include Do-Re-Mi, a special Lord of the Dance, and a Danny Boy duet marking 20 years of Martin's album Aria Celtica. To mark the World Cup there will also be renditions of Football's Coming Home and Nessun Dorma - ending with a flag-waving Proms finale and Jerusalem.

Joining him are sensational fiddle player Richard Sanderson (formerly of Lord of the Dance, a regular at Kennedy's) and Timperley soprano Millie Royle, fresh from her opera studies at Birmingham Conservatoire.

They'll be joined by the choir of St Hugh's Catholic Primary School in Timperley and 30+ young dancers from the June Rendell Academy of Dance.
