🏆 Seniors' Victory! 🏆

On Friday, our Seniors Team retained the “Beynon/Field Salver” in their away match at Redditch.

The trophy, created by Redditch Golf Club, is played for annually with the Salver being awarded to the team with the best overall score across all their home and away matches and, again this year, Kings Norton Golf Club won the trophy, retaining it by winning - 6 1/2 to 5 1/2.

Seniors' Captain, Steve Ianson, is pictured being presented with the trophy - and huge congratulations go to all our Seniors competing in all the matches this year!

🥳 Success in their Final Merican Junior League Match! 🏆

💥 Kings Norton 3 - 0 South Staffs

⛳️ Our Juniors had a fabulous win in their final Mercian League Match of the season with the whole team playing amazingly well - especially considering the tricky conditions in the wind & rain - and they secured a well deserved victory which saw them taking the lead at the top of the league!

🤗 We also welcomed one of our newest female juniors to the team, Anaya Sukhija, who already plays off an amazing 9.7 and made her debut for us yesterday! 😊

👏🏻Well done to Anaya and to the entire team!

💥 Exciting Pro Am Day for KN Junior Hudson Eckloff at The Belfry! 💥

🏆 On 3rd August, KN Junior, Hudson Eckloff, (aged only 14 years old) competed at The Belfry in the 'Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour'' and shot an astounding 73 (+2) to take 1st place in the competition - a full four shots ahead of the runner up - and earned himself a place in the 'British Masters Pro Am' which took place yesterday too!

☺️ Proud Dad, Colin Eckloff, reports that Hudson, (who already plays off just HI 2.0) played amazingly well yesterday and even shot 7 birdies in a Scramble!

🙏🏻 He also pays tribute to Dan Bradbury who partnered Hudson yesterday and was 'incredible with him' - talking to him constantly and offering tips and support and helping him to line up his putts.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Congratulations Hudson on such a fabulous win and what a terrific experience in yesterday's Pro Am too! You have a very bright future ahead of you!!

🥳 A Captain's Day to Remember!

💕 Huge, heartfelt thanks from all of us at Kings Norton Golf Club to Club Captain Mark Davies and his wife Mandy, daughter April, future Son in Law, Aiden and son Pierce for making Saturday a festival to remember!

🎊 It really was a spectacular day and simply fantastic to see so many members, guests, families & friends enjoying such an amazing party atmosphere!

⛳️ Ladies & Juniors, Annual Competition Results!🏌‍♀️🏌‍♂️

This year we decided to change things up a little in our annual 'Junior & Ladies Match' and on Tuesday, instead of 'Juniors v Ladies', we did a Pairs Better Ball Stableford with teams consisting of one junior and one lady.

This was to get the juniors and ladies to know each other better and tap into the vast knowledge and experience that the ladies have.

The day was a huge success! There was amazing scoring from all and it was very close.

The top 3 were:

1st - Elaine Leydon & Jacks Middleton-perks with 25 points

2nd - Terri Gough & Rory McNally with 24 points (2nd on countback)

3rd - Susanne Yau & Hudson Eckloff with 24 points

Congratulations to the winners and runners up and huge thanks to Colin Eckloff, our Junior Organiser, for his match report, for arranging the day and for his ongoing commitment to our terrific Junior Section!
