Today at Winchmore Hill Cricket Club, more than 100 family members, friends, players and supporters came together for the Memorial Game in honour of Marc Rycroft Allan. 💚🏏

It was a wonderful afternoon of cricket, memories and community, celebrating Marc’s life and the lasting impact he had on so many people.

The club would like to thank everyone who attended, played, donated and helped make the occasion so special.

At the request of Marc’s family, all funds raised will go towards supporting the future of youth cricket at WHCC, helping provide opportunities for the next generation of young cricketers and creating a lasting legacy in Marc’s name.

🏏 Chris 48, Tom 42, Liam 21, Greg 21, Senthil 19 🎯 Vish 3-14, Chris 2-31, Senthil 2-36, Aaron 1-46, Dan 1-49, Srinvas 1-18

The 1s showed plenty of character and determination after a tough start, with Chris top-scoring with a fluent 48 and Tom finishing unbeaten on 42. Valuable contributions from Liam, Greg and Senthil helped the side post a competitive total and give themselves something to defend.

In response, the bowlers battled brilliantly throughout. Vish led the way with an outstanding 3-14, while Chris and Senthil both picked up two wickets. Despite a disciplined and spirited bowling performance, the 1s ultimately fell just short, but can take plenty of positives from a hard-fought display and a great battle right to the very end. 👏💛💚🏏

🔥 2nd XI ✅

💯💯 Hamaad 214 (147) 🏏 Sajid 43, Ayaan 12, Shaz 11 🎯 Aarav 2, Rayaan 2, Isaac 1, Sajid 1, Ayaan 1, Shaz 1, Hamaad 1, Allen 1

A truly remarkable performance from the 2s, led by an outstanding unbeaten 214 from Hamaad. Batting through the innings, Hamaad struck 27 fours and 9 sixes in a sensational knock that propelled the side to a huge total. Valuable support came from Sajid, who finished unbeaten on 43. 
The bowlers then completed the job with wickets shared throughout the attack. Aarav and Rayaan both claimed two wickets, while Isaac, Sajid, Ayaan, Shaz, Hamaad and Allen all chipped in as the opposition were bowled out for 244. 
👏 A fantastic all-round team performance and a brilliant victory for the 2s.

A fantastic weekend for WHCC last weekend with victories for the 1st XI, 2nd XI and Sunday XI, showcasing some excellent cricket right across the club. From centuries and five-fors to valuable team contributions throughout, it was a weekend to remember. 👏💛💚 
🔥 1st XI
💯 David Reading 103. 🏏 Chris Edwards 71, Vishal Gounda 48, David Adams 35. 🎯 Vishal Gounda 5-15, Nabeel Iqbal 3-22, Chris Edwards 2-33 
A dominant performance from the 1s saw David Reading lead the way with a superb unbeaten century, well supported by Chris Edwards’ excellent 71. 
With a big total on the board, the bowlers took control as Vishal produced a sensational spell of 5-15 and Nabeel claimed 3 wickets to help wrap up a comprehensive win. 
👏 A complete team performance and a thoroughly deserved victory. 💛💚🏏

🏏 Hamaad 46, Tom 46, Rocco 33, Srinvas 27 🎯 Tom 5-19, Hamaad 3-30, Sajid 1-25, Senthil 1-12 
A superb all-round team performance from the 2s saw contributions throughout the batting order, with Hamaad and Tom both making 46 and Rocco adding a valuable 33. 
The bowlers then backed it up in style. Tom starred with an outstanding 5-wicket haul, while Hamaad capped off a brilliant day by claiming 3 wickets of his own.

A fantastic batting display from the Sunday XI saw Stuart Banham lead the way with a superb 63, well supported by Srinvas’ classy 48 and Rocco’s fluent 45, alongside valuable contributions from Allen E and Greg. 
The bowlers then backed up the batting effort with a disciplined team performance. Srinvas starred with 3 wickets, while Ben chipped in with 2 and Tom and Georgie were both among the wickets as the Sunday XI secured another excellent victory.
