🌱 GREENS MAINTENANCE UPDATE ⛳️
Another important job underway on the greens at Glynhir!
We’ve been hollow coring and removing the plugs to help improve the thatch layer and keep the greens healthy and performing at their best. 👌
The next step is to fill those holes with sand, giving the greens a good top dressing and helping improve drainage, firmness and consistency.
Unfortunately, the weather may have other ideas 🌧️🤦♂️ so the top dressing may have to wait until conditions are right.
A massive thank you to all our greenkeepers for their continued hard work and dedication in keeping the course in great condition. 👏🌱

A fantastic day of golf, competition and plenty of banter! ⛳️
After 18 holes, it was Europe who came out on top, winning 4–3! 👏🇪🇺

The team have been busy out on the course, with the greens being aerated and sanded. 👌⛳️
Perfect timing too, with the rain arriving to help soak the sand into the greens and get everything working its way down. 🌧️
A bit of rain will also help get the course looking even greener! 💚

The simulator room has had a freshen-up and is looking nice and fresh once again! 👌

⛳️ GLYNHIR GOLF CLUB ⛳️
After all the dry weather we’ve had, it’s great to see the course looking so green again! 💚 Compared to many other courses that have been hit hard by the sun this summer, Glynhir is really standing out as one of the greenest around. 🌿
The recent rain has certainly come at the right time, and the course is playing really nicely at the moment. 👌🏌️♂️

🏆 JUNIOR SUCCESS! 🏆
Massive congratulations to Ava-Lily Andrews on representing C&P at the Welsh Girls Under-18 Inter-County Championship at Bryn Meadows Golf Club. ⛳️👏
Ava-Lily was part of the C&P team competing against teams from Monmouthshire, Glamorgan, Caernarfonshire & Anglesey, Denbighshire & Flintshire and Mid Wales.
The event was played over 18 holes of Singles Stableford, with C&P coming out on top! 🏆🥇
