OVER £12,000 RAISED

On Saturday, the annual Andover New Street Youth Charity Event brought the community together in glorious sunshine — and proved to be a huge success.

With a fantastic turnout and support from some big names in football, including Premier League-winning captain Wes Morgan alongside Papiss Cissé and Oumar Niasse, the day was packed with quality football and a brilliant atmosphere throughout.

From the opening youth fixtures through to the main Foxes v Vixens match, which finished 6–2, the event showcased the very best of local football and community spirit. 🙌

Most importantly, an incredible **£12,217.85** was raised — beating last year’s total! 💥

Half of the funds will go to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, with the other half supporting Andover New Street Youth’s plans for a brand new 3G pitch at the DH Property Stadium.

Organisers have expressed their sincere thanks to everyone who donated prizes, sponsored the event, bought raffle tickets, and attended on the day.

A fantastic community effort — and one that is already being looked forward to again next year 👏
