So, as we all know, there is no more sidecar racing at the 2026 Isle of Man TT. We're absolutely gutted for all the teams over on the Island and, probably the same as everyone else, wondering where that leaves the future of sidecar racing. We all know that a lot of the major clubs and events share roughly the same regulations and that the decisions made around the sidecar class for the future of the TT will inevitably influence club racing at some level.

Our interests are all the same - for sidecar racing to have a bright future, to enjoy our sport, and to go home safe after each meeting. There are so many brilliant people included in each team, if we all pull together we can figure out how to move forward - and that doesn't just mean leaving it down to the top teams, it means digging out those engineering brains from all angles. You never know who's idea might spark a brainwave! We need a smart, considered set of regulations which allow us on track, racing and having fun. But, along with that, the attitude not to twist the rule book and search for loopholes, we need to prove that sidecar teams are taking the incidents we've been seeing seriously.

Maybe we should all get our heads together, in person or on video call, to discuss how we keep sidecars going. We can't let this setback be the beginning of the end!

Already missing waking up to this view and a garage full of sidecars!
But, it's less than four weeks until we're back on track at Darley Moor Sports Centre before heading back to Wales for Tonfanau 🏁

We're at Anglesey Circuit for a Classic Bike Trackdays test weekend, the perfect way to get our rhythm back after our, um, incident at Darley a couple of weeks ago 🏁

We've been so lucky to have so much support from our wonderful sidecar family to get us back on track so quickly! You're all the best people, thank you all 💕
