Car Club Displays 🚗🚗🚗

This weekend will see over 30 different car clubs head to Thruxton Race Circuit and join us for the Thruxton Historic, showcasing a stunning range of cars from classic beauties to modern marvels.

One particular highlight will be the Droop Snoot Group who will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary, having also celebrated their 25th at Thruxton in 1999 and the launch of the first Droop Snoot race at Thruxton in 1974! 🏆 Chris Moore Trophy at Thruxton Historic 🏆

This weekend, the Historic Formula 3 1l competitors make a rare return to Thruxton Race Circuit and will race for the prestigious Chris Moore Memorial Trophy. Honouring one of Britain’s rising stars of the mid-1960s, this trophy has a rich history with past winners including legends like James Hunt, Ayrton Senna, Martin Brundle and Gil De Ferran.

Come and watch these incredible one-litre F3 cars in action over two thrilling races to determine the aggregate winner.

🏆 Celebrate the Legacy of Ian Taylor at the Thruxton Historic 🏆

This weekend, the Heroes of FF1600 competitors at Thruxton Historic will be racing for the prestigious Ian Taylor Trophy. We honor Ian Taylor, a legendary Formula Ford racer and a key figure at Thruxton Race Circuit, whose career highlights include winning two titles in 1972 and becoming the first driver to win the Formula Ford Festival at Snetterton. His contributions, especially through the Ian Taylor Motor Racing School, have left a lasting impact on the racing community.

A great result for Ferrari and James Colado!

It's funny how the stars align sometimes. Huge congratulations to James Calado for winning the Le Mans 24hrs. Many of us know & worked with James at the Thruxton race school as he honed his exceptional skills. A real Ferrari star. The last time Ferrari won? 1965, 58 years ago this week in a car driven by Jochen Rindt. Even more reason to celebrate in Hampshire this coming weekend.
