🌿 GREENS MAINTENANCE UPDATE — VERTI-DRAINING 🌿

We’ve been out on the greens today carrying out verti-draining — one of the most important jobs we do to keep the turf in top condition!

What does it do?
✅ Relieves compaction — eases that hard, packed-down soil
✅ Helps water soak in — better drainage, less pooling, healthier grass roots
✅ Flushes out stale gases — releases trapped, harmful gases from deep in the soil
✅ Brings fresh oxygen in — replaces those gases with fresh air, feeding the roots
✅ Stronger, healthier turf — deeper roots, better grass that stands up to play and weather

It’s all about giving the grass room to breathe, drink, and grow — so you get the best possible surfaces to play on 💪

You might notice the small holes across the greens — they’ll disappear in no time, and the greens will be all the better for it!

We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Chef to join our team as we prepare to relaunch our new food menu!
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to bring fresh ideas to the kitchen and help us continue pushing our food offering forward.
🕣 Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 1:30pm
⏰ 25+ hours per week
🍽️ Opportunity for additional hours helping with club functions and events
🍺 Some light bar duties may also be required

Andover Golf Club is looking for friendly and reliable bank staff to join our bar team.

We’re looking for flexible team members who can work a mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts, as well as helping with club functions and events.

🍺 THE ROLE

Duties will include:

• Serving behind the bar
• Taking payments
• Providing great service to our members and guests
• Keeping the bar and clubhouse areas clean and tidy
• Helping with club functions and events

👋 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:

✅ Reliable and hardworking
✅ Happy working as part of a team
✅ Flexible with availability

⛳️🌸 Lady Captain’s Day at the Club 🌸⛳️

Lady Captain’s Day at the club was a massive success on Thursday — filled with fun, style, enjoyment, and some truly fantastic golf. 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️✨

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day unforgettable. 💐

The turnout from both the ladies and gents was excellent, with great skills on display and brilliant team spirit throughout. 👏⛳️

The atmosphere in the clubhouse was full of laughter, and the catering was second to none, with the theme of the day carried beautifully through to the food. 🥂🍽️✨
