Mix of emotions today at the EC7 Tournament. 🟠🟠

🔵 U7 - Great Start of the day with some good football being played, to then being Undefeated all competition and then the dreaded penalties in the final, unfortunately coming up shorty in the penalty shoot out. Coming runners up of the U7 group. 🥈

⚫️ U8 - Slower start in the morning, but topping the group and only losing one game all day resulting in taking home the trophy after a penalty shoot out win in the final. 🏆

Amazing football being played by all age groups, great to see so many KTF teams doing well at the same tournament.

Today was a huge milestone for our Dotty Dot Balloons sponsored KTF U6s as they took part in their very first football tournament! ⚽️🩵

It was amazing seeing our young players wear the KTF shirt with pride, show fantastic enthusiasm, listen, learn, and most importantly, have fun.

For many of them, this was their first experience of tournament football, and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The smiles, determination, teamwork and confidence they showed throughout the day made us incredibly proud.

These are the moments that youth football is all about - creating memories, building friendships, and developing a love for the game.

A huge well done to every player, thank you to our coaches for their hard work, and to all the parents and families for their amazing support on the sidelines.

The future is bright for this group! 🩵⚽️

We are saddened after what looked like a first call up to the national side, Danny Frendo wasn’t included in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.

Tuchel has commented saying “ his 40 yard goal was a cross and if he keeps sending it to him, he will be blocked”

Danny would like some time with his family to reflect on this terrible news. If you see him propping up a bar locally, he will take any larger 🍻
