The Vernham Dean Playing Fields Association has two functions to perform, firstly to maintain the current facilities and secondly to raise funds so that the facilities can be improved upon for all to enjoy. Live bands, an extended BBQ and a fully stocked bar - don't miss out!
Lost dog found in Vernham Dean, a yellow lab called Bundy. If anyone knows the owner/house please let us know!
We are excited to announce that we will be playing live music and extending the bar and BBQ until 8pm next Saturday after the fete. We have two bands confirmed and are looking for a third - are you in a band or know of a band that may be free to play a few tunes for an hour or so? It will be a great post fete event so please come and join us!
We are in great need of some volunteers to help run the BBQ for the fete and so if you are able to give us a hand for a couple of hours either cooking, serving or working on the till then please let us know! The BBQ will be up and running from 1100-2000 so if you have a spare hour or two then we would love it if you could help us out. Thank you all!

Make sure you save the date for our annual Village Fete this year! With Hot Air Balloon rides, a Hog Roast, a Craft Tent and much much more, it will be a fab day out for the whole family. If you fancy staying on for longer, there will also be a BBQ and music filled evening with a fully stocked bar. Hope to see you all there!
Fancy trying something new for 2016?! Then join our Playing Fields Association! We have our AGM tomorrow night in the George Inn - 8pm. We would welcome new faces with fresh ideas. You may like to help out with bookings, provide fundraising assistance or like fixing things! You don't need to have experience or expertise and what better way to meet other village peeps :) We would love to see you tomorrow, so please come along!
