Great turn out at the club last night for our practice night.

We're having another practice night next Friday (8th Sept) - why not come along and meet the team? We're always looking for new players and can promise you a warm and friendly welcome

In memory of two stalwarts of darts in Antrim and Northern Ireland - Willie Bonnes and Billy Scott

Promises to be a great day out. All entry fees will be paid out, plus top up and trophies. Live coverage of semi finals and final to be streamed on Facebook and You Tube. Also, interviews throughout the day with various players, again streamed online.

Raffle on the day with all proceeds going to Chest, Heart and Stoke

Another bumper competition at Antrim Sport Club today for our latest darts competition

28 players took to the oche in the round Robin first round...6 groups saw 12 players proceed to the next round.

Another 4 groups saw the 4 group winners progress to the semi finals.

Gary Gibson got the better of Vinty Letters 4-2 in a very close encounter.

In the other semi, Nigel G Cahoon edged Martin Letters 4-2 in a terrific.

The final turned out to be a superb game, with Gary playing some tremendous darts to beat Nigel 5-0. Although the scoreline suggests a one sided affair, it was anything but. It was Gary's incredible finishing that saw him over the line, with check outs of 98, 96, 92 and in the final leg, an impressive 156 finish, winning legs in 17, 20, 17, 17 and 18 darts.

All in all a great day's darts..we're always keen to hear people's opinions on it and any suggestions to improve. We will always endeavour to make it as enjoyable as possible.

Thank you to everyone who attended, with special thanks to everyone who marked boards without issue, especially Grace and Paul...it certainly can be a thankless task.

Apologies for the delay folks...between work, hospital stays and general laziness, I haven't updated in a while.

Firstly, ASC Darts team is growing in confidence every week. Following a well deserved 4-4 draw with The Steeple Inn, the team got their first win with a fantastic 5-3 win over Masserene House.

With a depleted squad to chose from on Friday, we were beaten 4-1 by Masserene House in the cup, although the scoreline doesn't do.justice to the fine performance the lads put in. Andy Dunn was outstanding again with an excellent win, while Keith, Josh and Norman all showed significant progress and were all narrowly beaten in their games.

We're away to The Crowsnest this Friday and will face another tough challenge there.
