Tough opening game of the season against a very good Willowbank team who were just better than us all over the pitch and definitely in the wrong league. The lads didn't let the score line effect their team spirit and there were so good individual performances. Oscar ran his heart out, Liam completed a 1st full match for over a season and was unlucky not to get on the score sheet and a brace from Luke earnt him man of the match.

A very evenly contested between two strong sides willing to battle for everything ..after 20 mins kilmore got the first goal after a scramble in the box ..both teams pushing for the second goal its rovers who scored from a beautifully placed keatin free kick..second half pretty similar again both teams cancelling each other out until a mix up in the box allowed there striker to toe poke home the ultimate winner..great battle today in which manager for the day w***y done very well organising the boys ..

The match started well for AR and we were sustaining good pressure on the Northend goal. A quick throwin by Max resulted in a handball and a penalty which was slotted home by Alex.

Unfortunately we suffered a few injuries and with only 1 sub the players tried their best but we made 3 mistakes and went in at halftime 3-1 down.

2nd half went are way and we were awarded another penalty when Amir burst into the box and was brought down. Alex again scored from the spot.

Unfortunately while pushing for an equaliser, Northend scored their 4th.

Good luck to Northend for the rest of the season.

2016 Swifts 4 - 2 18th Newtownabbey

The Swifts continued with their good form with some great football and some great physical battles along with a worldie of a goal from Daniel . Really enjoyable team to watch as they develop week on week .

We started off slow going 1 nil down . Once we settled into the game the boys showed their class and kept putting constant pressure on their defence . Our defence was excellent in breaking down their attacks . Outstanding from our midfielders today as well . Great first game from the boys today .

2014 SWIFTS 4 - 1 Crumlin Utd

A match full of incidents today, with most of the play being fought out in the middle of the pitch.
The Swifts got on top and started to spread the play and were looking good, but unfortunately we got drawn back into the midfield chaos which cost us a goal.
The Swifts stuck to their task and got a well deserved Win.
