Lady Captain Brenda invited the Junior Girls to play in the Lady Captains day competition for the new Lauren C.Finlay trophy on Thursday 30th July ….all the girls who were able to join in had a great morning of fun & golf …some of the future ladies of Antrim Golf Club!

It’s been a busy Summer over at Antrim golf club Junior Section!

The Sixes & Nines teams have been putting all their practice into action at lots of golf course across the country ….including Allen Park,
Masserene, Cairndhu, Ballymena, Moyola, Whitehead, Greenisland & Donaghadee!!

Another one of Antrims Junior playing at the US kids championship at Portstewart was Jaxon Blair!! Fantastic score!! Well done! 👏🏼⛳️

Antrim Junior Michael McDonnell has played brilliantly at the USkids Tour Championship yesterday on a very wet Sunday 7th June at Portstewart! ☔️

As you can see from the results sheet Micheal is top of his age group for Northern Ireland!! Fantastic golf!! Well done Michael!!

Sixes Team this week was out at Moyola Golf club on Saturday 6th June … some tricky holes, lakes & bunkers to navigate in the rain ….but the team played well as a five …big shout out to Joe who had to pull out last minute, we wish him a speedy recovery & hope to see you back at golf soon ⛳️

Congratulations to our Junior Convenor Wilma Young who recently received an email from BBC telling her she has have been nominated for Make a Difference Award in the Active Category!! 👏🏼

I think we can all agree the work Wilma puts into our Junior Club is amazing!! We are all very thankful for her time and effort she provides, along with the other adults who show up every week to support her!! 🌟

Friday 15th May 2026 ….tonight we kicked off the Golf Sixes League at Allenpark ⛳️

We welcomed teams from Galgorm, Ballymena, Moyola and Antrim Golf Clubs 🏌🏼‍♂️

Well done to all the boys & girls who took part, it was a lovely evening in the sunshine ☀️
