Huge congratulations to Brenda Ewbank on winning the ladies championship on Sunday. Commiserations to Jodie Hodgson who gave her a great match which included numerous birdies by both players. The game was played in great spirit with support from family and members.

Great result for Appleby ladies at Brampton golf club Cumbria Vets. 3 of our ladies in the semi final Brenda Sharron and Liz with the final between Brenda and Sharron. Brenda came out the overall winner 🏆. Also lady captain Anne won the Cupboard trophy. Well done all you did us proud 👏🏼 👏🏼

A really enjoyable night at the ladies section AGM. Followed by tasty Christmas dinner from albatross catering in our newly refurbished clubhouse. Congratulations to newly appointed ladies captain Anne Cousin and Vice captain Lynne Robinson and all the successful prize winners. ⛳️👍

Appleby ladies section away for their Sunday driver at Rudding Park. Day started fine but sadly went downhill. Got v wet but enjoyed ourselves. Will hopefully have better weather tomorrow 🤞

Winners of the 9 hole Texas Scramble & BBQ. Great enjoyable night played in beautiful sunny weather on a course in magnificent condition. Thanks to Lady Vice Captain Anne Cousin for organising and Albatross Catering for a tasty BBQ

A great day had by all the Appleby Golf club ladies on their away day at Heysham Golf Club. Enjoyed wonderful weather and quality course. Stableford comp with Gill Forrester as the overall winner with 40 points.
