We’re delighted to welcome Ross Fest back to Lochlands on Sunday 27th September!

From 11am–5pm a fantastic family day featuring:

Brilliant turnout last night for our final junior hardball session of the season!

It’s not only the end of the season, but this Thursday we also say goodbye to Aron and Calum, as they fly back home to South Africa. 🇿🇦

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Aron. From training sessions to junior matches, his input, with Calum's support, into the development of our young players has been phenomenal. Their overall game has come on massively, but even better has been seeing their confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of cricket grow throughout the season. 👏

And we definitely can’t forget Reece, who has also played a huge part in the juniors’ development and has been an inspiration to them.

What a great night for our final Kwik Cricket session of the season! 🤩 A fantastic turnout and, best of all, brilliant to see so many kids out on the pitch enjoying themselves, having fun and loving their cricket.

A huge thank you to Aron, Calum & Reece for providing such fun and enjoyable sessions throughout the summer. The development in the kids has been fantastic to watch, and that goes for our older juniors too. It’s been great seeing their confidence, skills and love of the game grow throughout the season. 🏏👏

Thank you also to all the parents and families for bringing the kids along each week and supporting our junior section, we couldn't do it without you.

And a big thank you to Stuart & Erica for keeping everyone fed with the BBQ last night! 🍔🌭

Another big weekend ahead for Arbroath United as our 1st & 2nd XI take to the field tomorrow!

Our 1st XI welcome Carlton CC to Lochlands in the Eastern Premier League. With their safety secured, the lads can look forward to another season of Premier League cricket next year! 👏🏏

For our 2nd XI, it’s a huge one. They travel to face Largo CC in SPCU Division 1, with tomorrow's game a must-win as they continue the fight to secure their Division 1 status. 💪

SMOKIES v LICHTIES 🏏

An evening of junior cricket at Lochlands last night for our Smokies v Lichties inter-club game!

Plenty of cricket on show, but more importantly a chance for the youngsters to get out there, enjoy themselves and put everything they've been learning into practice.

The Smokies came out on top, finishing on 112, with the Lichties on 61.

Great to see some of the group enjoying their cricket together and supporting each other. Nights like these are what junior cricket is all about! 👏🏏

🏏 Weekend Results — FIVE Wins for AUCC! 💙

A fantastic weekend across the club, with all five AUCC sides coming away with victories! 👏

1st XI vs Stewart’s Melville

Stewart’s Melville posted 190/8, with Reece Small taking 3/26 and Darryl Sinclair 3/34 with the ball.

AUCC chased down the target with four wickets to spare, led by a superb 85 from Darryl Sinclair, alongside Aron Visser’s 43 and Reece Small’s 22.

🔹 AUCC 1st XI won by 4 wickets

2nd XI vs Falkland 2

A strong bowling performance restricted Falkland to 129/9, with Craig Ross leading the way with 4/23, supported by Ben McGill with 2/25.

AUCC made quick work of the chase, reaching 130/4 in just 17.2 overs. Mark Edwards top-scored with 46, alongside Mackinley Hogg’s 26 and Greig Peal’s 15.

🔹 AUCC 2nd XI won by 6 wickets

3rd XI vs DHSFP

AUCC posted 166/7, with J. Russell retiring on 42, D. Bridges retiring on 31 and C. Miller adding 21.

Another strong performance with the ball saw DHSFP restricted to 135/9. J. Smith and A. Sinclair picked up three wickets each, Asif took two, and C. Miller added one.

🔹 AUCC 3rd XI won by 31 runs

And the winning didn’t stop there, with both of our junior teams also picking up victories! 🙌💙

A clean sweep across the club — five teams, five wins! 🏏🔥
