🎯 CLAY SHOOT! 🎯
Today some of our members swapped the indoor range for something a little different as we headed along to Cluny Clays for a day of clay shooting.
The day was organised as a special thank you from our Chairman, Charlie, to the members who helped with the club’s refurbishment earlier this year. And what better way to say thank you than to spend the day outdoors, having a bit of fun and seeing who could actually hit something! 😂
With 15 different shooting points, everyone had the chance to put their skills to the test, try something a little different and, most importantly, enjoy a great day together. It was also a fantastic opportunity for some team building and for members to get to know each other a little better away from the indoor range.
The whole day was carried out under the watchful eye of our Chairman Charlie, with am******on duties handled by Vice Chairman Nicky… who, somewhat surprisingly, turned out to be the top shooter of the day!
Having never fired a sh***un before, Nicky certainly started the day on the back foot with a rather impressive run of zero hits! 😂 But by the end of the day, the clays were being dusted like he’d been doing it for years!
We were also delighted to have one of our Under 18 members, Lily, join us. Having never fired a sh***un before, she did an absolutely fantastic job and should be very proud of her shooting today. 👏
Andy, Gus and Fiona also put in some great shooting and, most importantly, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
A massive thank you to Chairman Charlie for providing the opportunity and organising such a brilliant day for our members. It was a great day of shooting, plenty of laughs and some excellent company.
Now… who’s up for the rematch?
